RESEARCH AND SAMPLE PAPERWORK

RESEARCH - SUNSET
I spent many evenings of my summer chasing and observing sunsets to gain a better understanding of their timing, movement, and color.

RESEARCH - FLASHBACKS
I wanted to create for the audience a visual representation of the emotions Louise felt when describing the night she was raped.

PRELIMINARY LIGHT PLOT
I communicated my early ideas for my design to the master electrician with this Vectorworks plot.

FINAL LIGHT PLOT
After watching rehearsals, I made  a few tweaks before producing my final plot.

COLOR KEY
I used this simple color key to communicate my area wash lights to the director and design team.

CHANNEL HOOKUP
Using Vectorworks, I generated a comprehensive channel hookup.

CUE SHEET
Though the majority of the cues for this show were lights up/lights down, after each up cue for the top of a scene was autofollowed by a sunset transition cue. These cues ranged in time from 5Â to 25 minutes.
